Suzuki Intruder is all set to debut in India with a smaller engine. The Bajaj Avenger has long enjoyed the monopoly in the lower end cruiser segment. It was the only cruiser available apart from the Royal Enfield motorcycles which come with bigger engines of 350cc and above. Recently the UM motorcycles entered in the Indian market but failed to rival either the Royal Enfield or even the Bajaj Avenger. But all that is bound to change with the launch of Suzuki Intruder 150cc in India.
Suzuki Intruder is closer to a cruiser profile than Bajaj Avenger ever was.
The soon to be launched Suzuki Intruder is a new motorcycle by Suzuki in India which is already riding high on success of the Gixxer and the Access range. The Suzuki Intruder is a cruiser like the Bajaj Avenger from the immensely popular intruder family but comes with a smaller engine especially for countries like India. The Suzuki Intruder looks meaner than the Bajaj Avenger and for some might offer better visual appeal than the Royal Enfield too. The ultra stylish cruiser gets a meaty body with flashy materials used all over the motorcycle.
The Bajaj Avenger has lost its charm and has never seen a major update since its inception. The Suzuki Intruder cruiser in India comes with an ultra stylish set of lamps and a dual exhaust at the back which looks stunning. The presence of ABS insures that the feature hungry set of buyers are taken care of by the Suzuki Intruder 150cc unlike the Bajaj Avenger. Although the Suzuki Intruder comes with a 150cc engine the company has won our hearts with the loud exhaust thump note that gives the motorcycle the typical cruiser feel. The Bajaj Avenger’s main issue was a bike like feel and sound which never sat well with the cruiser enthusiast.
Launch and Price details of the new cruiser in India: Suzuki Intruder 150cc
The Suzuki Intruder cruiser India has been confirmed by the company for a November 7 launch. The motorcycle will compete against the Bajaj Avenger in the Indian market. The loud thump and modern features tell that Suzuki Intruder cruiser might also end up eating into the sales of the Royal Enfield in the Indian market.
Expect the motorcycle to be launched in ABS and Non-ABS profiles. The Suzuki Intruder will be priced similar to the Bajaj Avenger cruiser in India which is priced at ninety to ninety five thousand.
