Urja Global gains by 5% after signing Memorandum with Micromax
Urja Global has gained almost 5%, during the early trading hours of Friday. The surge came as a result of news announcement, wherein the company announced the signing of Memorandum. Urja Batteries Limited, a subsidiary of Urja Global Limited, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Micromax Energy Limited. The signing took place on November 09, 2017.
As per the MOU, the company will manufacture and supply batteries on OEM basis to Micromax.
Urja Batteries, a part of Urja global, is a leading battery manufacturer in India that specializes in lead acid battery for Industrial, Solar, and Standby power solutions. It is constantly enhancing its product-line and quality checks through significant capital investments in its R&D Technology.
Urja Global Ltd is currently trading at Rs 2.23, up by Rs 0.1 or 4.69% from its previous closing of Rs 2.13 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 2.23 and has touched a high and low of Rs 2.23 and Rs 2.23 respectively.
