Chelsea manager Antonio Conte believes it will be tough for any of the English teams to win the UEFA Champions League, due to their domestic schedule.
The Blues have qualified for the round of 16 already, alongside Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham, while Liverpool have a good chance of joining them should they manage at least a point in their last group game.
However, due to the strength in depth of the Premier League as a competition, Conte doubts whether any of the English teams can maintain the high level of performances required to win the Champions League.

"With five teams to go through to the next round means the level of this league is very high," said the Italian, according to the Daily Mail.
"Don't forget here this season is very tough. You have to play a lot of games, but when you arrive at the final stage to play for quarter-finals, semi-finals the English teams have a lot of games in their legs. For this reason I think it could be problematic to win (the Champions League)."
On the upcoming last-16 Champions League draw, Conte added: "You must be ready to face the best teams. Our opponent won't be happy to play against us."
