“The Honor 7X comes with 5.93-inch 18:9 display and dual cameras”
Honor unveiled the Honor 7X (review) in China last month and went on to launch the device globally at an event held in London a couple of days ago. At the event, the brand announced that the handset will go on sale in India starting December 7th at 12pm exclusively on Amazon India via flash sales. Today, the handset finally goes on sale in the country with prices starting from Rs 12,999.
For the uninitiated, the Honor 7X has been equipped with a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone flaunts very slim bezels and a 2.5D curved glass on the top. The performance of the handset is handled by a 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor mated to 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is being offered in two variants – 32GB and 64GB storage. However, there is a microSD card slot as well, which can take up to 256GB cards.
In the camera department, the smartphone gets a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera on the rear panel, with the latter being a depth-sensing sensor. For selfies and video calling, the handset gets an 8-megapixel snapper on the front. The software side of things is taken care of Android 7.1 Nougat with the proprietary EMUI 5.1 skin on top. A 3,340mAh battery fuels the smartphone minus the fast charging. The connectivity options include hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE (voice over LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Honor 7X is being offered in hues of Black, Gold and Blue, and will set you back by Rs 12,999 for the 32GB option, and Rs 15,999 for the 64GB variant. Amazon is offering 90GB free data to Airtel users with the device and 80 percent off on eBooks upto Rs 300 on the Kindle app. The website is also offering flat Rs 1,250 discount for ICICI credit card users.
