Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer upcoming action and romantic entertainer Agnyaathavaasi - Prince in Exile, directed by his longtime friend Trivikram Srinivas, is set to hit the theaters on 10th January 2018, on the occasion of Sankranthi. The grand release of the film will be preceded by a number promotional events and a jazzy music launch event, scheduled to take place on 15 December.
Along with being the 25th film for Pawan , it is also a debut Telugu project for music director Anirudh Ravichander. 'Baitikochi Chuste', the first song from the film which was released recently on YouTube garnered one million views in a matter of a hours. Now the makers are going to release the second single, ‘Gaali Vaaluga’, on 12th December.
According to the latest update, Agnyaathavaasi will be screened across 209 Cinemark centres in the USA, surpassing SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali’s record of release across 126 locations. Apparently, this is biggest ever release for any Indian film. Pawan and Trivikram Srinivas have already worked together for two movies Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi, which were blockbuster at the box office. So expectations are very high.
Pawan Kalyan’s previous two offerings, Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu had failed to impress at the box office, now he is pinning lot of hopes and confident on the project. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel are playing the female lead. Agnyaathavaasi will lock horns with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Jai Simha at the box-office, which is also arriving at the theaters on the eve of Pongal.
