Ajmer: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Sachin Pilot on Thursday said that the state government is appointing vice-chancellors (V-Cs) not on merit but on certain ideology. Due to this, the V-Cs are not imparting education but disseminating politics, he said.
Pilot was addressing Karyakarta Samelan at Monia Islamia School compound in Ajmer. There was a huge turnout of party workers. Pilot said that BJP government is not serious about the higher education in Rajasthan. They wanted that the youth rather getting good education, should attach themselves with single ideology and therefore they are not appointing V-Cs on merits.
The issue of Kishangarh airport again surfaced and Pilot said that chief minister Vasundhara Raje inaugurated the airport of Kishangarh in a hurry. “She divided the society of Ajmer in caste and micro-caste just to get votes,” he added.
He also charged that Raje government is busy not in development of the state but to safeguard the corrupt officers. “And that is why law and order in Rajasthan went down and people are not breathing in safe environment,” he added.
Over the killing of a man in Rajsamand district, Pilot said that it an example of worsening law and order situation in the state.
Pilot also took the opportunity of the alleged killing of a man in Rajasmand district and said that this is the worse example how law and order is working in Rajasthan.
