CSIR UGC NET 2018 Admit Card Released Online at csirhrdg.res.in; Know What Other Documents Are to Be Carried On the Exam Day

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has released the admit card for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) for December 16 exam. All the candidates who are participating in the exam can download the CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2018 from the official website; csirhrdg.res.in. The CSIR UGC NET exam will be conducted in two shifts. It shall be noted that the hall tickets will be available for students to download until the exam day. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without the print out of the call letters. While downloading, the candidates must check all the details imprinted on CSIR UGC NET admit card. In case of any discrepancy, the candidates must contact the examination authority immediately and get the errors rectified. CSIR UGC NET December 2018 exam will be a single paper which will be held in the morning and evening session. Students will have to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) from Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
Documents to carry on the CSIR UGC NET 2018 December exam
The print out of the admit card is important to carry during the exam. Apart from the hall tickets, the candidates must also carry one of the prescribed photo ID proofs—Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Bank passbook, Driving license, Voter ID card, Employee ID. Without the copy of admit card and any one of prescribed photo identity proof, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
Every year, CSIR conducts the UGC NET twice—June and December. The results for the exam which was conducted on June 17 was announced on November 28. CSIR UGC NET 2018 is conducted for students who are interested in the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS). As of now, candidates who are selected for the fellowship programmes, they get a stipend amount of Rs. 25,000 per month for the first two years. The amount later increases to Rs. 28,000 per month.
