Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh also pitched in. JAIPUR: The campaign for the December 7 assembly elections came to an end at 5 pm on Wednesday. About 4.75 crore voters will decide the fate of 2,274 candidates in the fray. The voter could be identified by the voter identity card or any other approved identity proof.Both the main political parties - BJP and Congress - claimed the support of the people. All public meetings, processions, advertisements on electronic or television are banned after 5pm on Wednesday.
