On tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two, Katya Jones appeared alongside Graziano Di Prima.

The pair were set to take on the pro challenge, which sees the stars show off their Jive toe heel swivels.

Katya was keen to see a female professional take the crown as this year’s winner.

She told host Zoe Ball: “It might not be me but as long as it’s a girl.

“I think everyone who has sat here has said, ‘As long as it’s not Giovanni.’”

“Oh Giovanni,” Zoe replied, before adding: “It’s fine, he’s had two.”

Following the challenge it was revealed Katya achieved 42 steps with three disqualified while Graziano managed 41 toe heel swivels.

Unfortunately, the Italian professional also had some of his steps disqualified.

Host Zoe revealed this meant the pair had equalised with 39 steps correct placing them at the top of the leaderboard.

Katya and Graziano were thrilled with the news and immediately leapt up to dance and celebrate.

Once they had congratulated one another, Katya took a cheeky swipe at fellow pro Giovanni.

“Can I just say, Giovanni who?” Katya exclaimed.

The moment came after Giovanni had walked off set following a cheeky jibe from Zoe.

The presenter joked the professional should take notice of the pro challenge.

She said: “Actually, Giovanni. You might want to hang about and see this next bit.

“Pick up some tips, you know, on toe-heel swivels.”

Giovanni was certainly not impressed as he snapped back: “Really? You’re so funny.”

He then picked up his cushion and threw it at the host before storming off.

Zoe said to the camera: “Some people just can’t take a joke.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 airs Saturday on BBC One at 6.35pm.
