After the TRS registered landslide victory in the just-concluded Assembly elections, KCR vowed to perform another yagam. Ahead of the elections held in December 2018, the Chief Minister performed Raja Shyamala Chandi Yagam.
Sources said that Prime minister Narendra Modi, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Governor ESL Narasimhan, representatives of various political parties from across the country as well as bigwigs from various sectors are among the list of special invitees.
As many as 200 ritwiks will conduct the yagam.  Pundits from Sringeri peetham  Shashanka  Sharma and Gopi Krishna have been entrusted with the responsibility for making all arrangements as per the instructions of  Sringeri Peetham head Bharati Teertha and Sharada Peethadipathi Swaroopanandendra Swami.  KCR met Sharada peethadipathi in Vishakhapatnam recently.
