A source told Reuters that the carmaker would announce "substantial" job losses totalling in the thousands as the firm launches a ÂŁ2.5bn plan to reverse losses. Business Secretary Greg Clark said Jaguar Land Rover "have always been clear their success depends on exports including to the rest of the EU, [to which] tariffs would be disastrous." Earlier this week, it was reported that Jaguar Land Rover had suspended a worker pictured posing in a mock suicide vest inside the Solihull plant.
