Kim Kardashian Posted A No-Makeup Instagram Selfie Showing What Her Psoriasis Looks Like
Last night, she posted an Instagram Story of her makeup-free face covered with psoriasis flare-ups. Known for her all-out glam looks, the beauty mogul showed a no-makeup side of herself that fans don't often get to see.
Kardashian West's face flare ups are a fairly new thing for her. In early January, she let her fans know that her psoriasis was spreading. Wait, why am I now getting psoriasis on my face, Kardashian West tweeted .
Leave it to Kim to have a positive attitude about it though. After this many years, Ive really learned to live with it, Kim said on her website in late 2016. I dont even really try to cover it that much anymore. Sometimes I just feel like its my big flaw and everyone knows about it, so why cover it?
Psoriasis is a fairly common skin issue. In fact, according to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), about 7.5 million Americans have it. It happens when a persons immune system sends faulty signals that tell skin cells to grow too quickly. When those cells overproduce, they pile up, causing patches on a persons skin.
