Samsung Galaxy M40 tipped to cost Rs. 25,000; release in early June
Samsung is reportedly planning to launch Galaxy M40 smartphone in the Indian market. The report has been first shared by Outlook India citing information from IANS. It will be the latest Galaxy M series phone which will make it the fourth member of the series which was introduced earlier this year.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is said to feature in-display selfie camera which simply means that there will be a punch-hole in the display to house the selfie sensor. This will make it the first such phone in the Galaxy M lineup as all previous three phones Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, and Galaxy M30 come with a notched display.
It has been reported that the Galaxy M40 is expected to cost around Rs. 25,000. It means it will be the most expensive offering in the lineup which makes sense as it will be ranked above the Galaxy M30 in the lineup. The exact official launch date is currently unknown but it is speculated to get official sometime in early June.
If we talk about rumors, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is likely to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. There is expected to be about 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The battery capacity could be 5,000mAh and it is likely to run OneUI based on Android 9 Pie.VIASOURCE
