Vivo Z5x with punch-hole display, 5,000mAH battery may arrive soon
Vivo has a bunch of smartphones which maintain thin bezels and offer more display, some of them have a notch and some of them are just notch-less, supporting the pop-up mechanism that holds the selfie cameras. These phones come in all varieties, phones with wider displays notch to phones with a waterdrop-style notch and completely bezel-less profiles. However, a punch-hole display design hasn’t been achieved yet. But according to a new leak, the Chinese company is ready to adopt this display design as well.
A leaker has posted an image of the device and it seems to have been snapped at a Vivo factory. According to the leaker, the name of the phone is Vivo Z5x and it will house a massive 5,000mAH battery. The tipster has shared no other information on the specifications. The battery of the device is expected to support the fast charging. Hopefully, the smartphone will feature a USB-C port. The punch-hole is staying at the left corner of the display, giving room to the selfie-camera.
Unconfirmed information shared by another tipster suggests that the Vivo Z5x could be fueled by either Snapdragon 712 or Snapdragon 730 SoC. The labeling on the display of the phone reveals that it has a model number of V1911. While the punch-hole display design is new in Vivo phones, the mammoth 5,000mAH battery capacity isn’t. If the leaked information is true, the Vivo Z5x will be the second phone from the company to arrive with this much battery.
This is quite inadequate information on the device but we expected to hear more about the same in coming days. So stay tuned.
