England’s cricket stars have undergone a major transformation ahead of the third ODI against Pakistan – a gender swap! No no, not an actual gender swap but a virtual one!

The multi-media messaging app, Snapchat recently introduced a new filter – gender swap, where you can swap your face with a girl’s face if you are a man and vice versa. Celebrities all over the world have already tried their hands on the interesting trend of using the filter, and now it was time for England’s cricket team.

The mood in the camp appeared high as the players were put to the test on the Snapchat gender swap filter. And the results were surprising with some of the ‘girls’ even getting a bit of attention in the comments section.

One fan joked, “I’m falling in love.” while another added, “I have a crush. Never thought the English cricket team would actually look good if they were girls.”

Here are the funny images of these players who tried the filter.

Former vice-captain of the English test team definitely makes for a pretty ‘girly’ face. His beautiful eyes do all the justice to his girly features after the face swap!

Jos Butler

Regarded as one of the best wicket-keeper batsmen in the world, Buttler can also be rewarded with the ‘best face-swap’ award after this!

Those cute cheek dimples make for an even prettier girl face. Agree?

Joe Root

Wow! It’s actually surprising how these men are killing it with their face-swaps! Root is scoring full-points from our side on this one.

The right-handed batsman has a pretty smile, irrespective of this filter. But definitely, it enhances his facial features, if we must say.

The English cricketer who bowls right-arm fast makes for a pretty girl too, don’t you think? We would have appreciated it more if he would have smiled a bit for the photograph!

Other players who tried the filter include – Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan, James Vince, and Mark Wood.

England faces Pakistan in the third ODI of the series at Bristol on Tuesday. A number of players will be rotated with Jos Buttler – fresh from his 50-ball century – among those being rested.

One man in desperate need of some form is Roy. He was forced home early from England’s winter tour of West Indies by a torn hamstring and then suffered the searing pain of a back spasm last month. After three weeks’ absence, the Surrey opener marked his comeback with 87 in England’s 12-run victory at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, on Saturday.
