Big announcement of CM Kejriwal, will give ownership rights for those living in raw colonies

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today made a big announcement for people living in raw colonies in the national capital. Kejriwal said on Thursday that the registry of houses of people living in Delhi's raw colony will be opened soon. He has said that these people will get ownership over their home after long wait.

Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Arvind Kejriwal said during the press conference, "On November 2, 2015, we had passed the proposal in the Cabinet and on November 12, 2015, we had written to the Central Government. "The response of the Central Government has come, they are ready and I thank the Central Government for this," CM Kejriwal said, adding that the registry will be opened soon, the department has been asked to be prepared for the massive registry.

"I have asked the authorities to prepare an answer to all the questions and reach out to the Central government at the earliest," Arvind Kejriwal said, adding that "any colony whether it is on private land or on government land." All of them will be given ownership rights," he said.
