Manappuram Finance shines as its arm achieves dual milestones
The scrip opened at Rs. 123.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 123.90 and Rs. 120.35 respectively. So far 104993 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 144.90 on 27-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 66.40 on 08-Oct-2018.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 124.00 and Rs. 114.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10308.88 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 49.35% and 15.53% respectively.
Asirvad Microfinance, a subsidiary of Manappuram Finance, has achieved a significant milestone with its AUM (assets under management) in the state Tamil Nadu alone crossing Rs 1,000 crore. This was accomplished by disbursing microfinance loans to over 450,000 women members. Asirvad Microfinance commenced operations in Tamil Nadu in 2008 and completed a decade of operations last year.
Asirvad Microfinance achieved another milestone in August 2019 when it opened its 1,000th branch in Bihariganj in the state of Bihar.
Manappuram Finance is a non-deposit taking NBFC and having a strong presence in South India in states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Prades.
