'British tourists' injured as bus plunges down embankment near famous Thai beach
The roof was torn off and the driver was "barely conscious" after the bus left the road on a steep hill just after 1pm local time on Saturday. An eyewitness said that between eight and 10 passengers, mainly British and French, were injured, including a couple from the UK. Two ambulances were called to help the injured group and the bus driver, who had to be carried from the wreckage.
