The tech site WindowsCentral, dedicated to everything related to Microsoft claims to have come in contact with some sources. According to them, the production of the Surface Duo has already begun and if all goes well, the device will launch around August 24.

The availability of Surface Duo has been questioned numerous times, despite so many postulations. The latest tip is no different, though such kinds of stuff help in keeping the buzz alive, after all, we should be clued in to what’s happening around the Surface Duo.

Two weeks back, Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer Panos Panay was seen holding the Surface Duo in a candid shot, suggesting those leaks by the truckloads might not be entirely false.

We still do not have anything concrete to believe in the new tip but let’s just follow along with the alleged development. Also, recently, the Surface Duo also passed through FCC and Bluetooth SIG certifications. This actually suggests that Microsoft is gearing up to bring its long-awaited product soon.

The Microsoft Surface Duo packs two 5.6-inch AMOLED panels and they are joined by a 360-degree hinge. It is powered by a slightly older Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. It packs 3,460mAh battery and runs Android 10 with a plethora of Microsoft’s own solutions to keep the execution smoother.
